Part Time Work, Post Study Visa & PR Option

Part-Time Work:  While studying you are allowed to work on campus without a work permit and you can work off-campus with a work permit. You can apply for off-campus work permit only after successfully completing first 6 months in the college.
Once you receive your off-campus work permit, you can work up to 20 hours per week off campus while classes are in session. You can work full time during scheduled breaks, including summer or winter holidays and reading weeks.
While classes are in session, you must be studying full time and retain satisfactory academic standing to keep your off-campus work permit.

Post Study Visa – Canada offers Post Study Work Visa Permit.

If your course duration is upto 2 years but more than 8 months, you will be eligible for work permit for a period no longer than the length of your study program.

If your course duration is more than 2 years, you may be eligible for a work permit for up to 3 years.

PR Option –  You can apply for Permanent Residency in Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) with a valid offer of arranged employment. The current pass mark is 67 out of a grid worth 100 points. The minimum pass mark could change. The grid considers the following:

the person’s ability in English and/or French
their education
their work experience
their age
whether they have a job already arranged in Canada (arranged employment); and
how well they might adapt to living in Canada (which awards points for things like previous work or study in Canada, spouse’s education and relatives in Canada)
